The NEPA Elite Cooper 17U team closed out the Zero Gravity Boys National finals in Boston Sunday with a 67-44 victory over Clydes Select-Griffith from New York.

The Cooper team had lost, 46-41, to Team 207 from Massachusetts earlier in the day. It went 1-2 to finish fourth out of five teams in the Boys Varsity Division 2 Maroon Pool.

The NEPA Elite Coyle 17U and Miller 15U teams each used Saturday’s results to make it into championship bracket play where they were eliminated in their first games Sunday morning.

NE Storm-Regan from Massachusetts downed the Coyle team, 53-48, in the Varsity Division 1 championship bracket round of 16. The Coyle team had been one of 13 Saturday pool winners when it won both games.

High Rise Black from Connecticut defeated the Miller team, 70-46, in the 9th Grade Division 1 championship bracket round of 16. They were among the 11 qualifiers for the championship bracket by going 2-0 to win pools Saturday.

The NEPA Elite Joyce 16U team lost, 50-19, to MPC-Intrioni from Massachusetts in a consolation game.
