NEPA Elite teams won their first three games before ending Wednesday’s action with a two-point loss at The Hoop Group’s Girls Live in New England.
The three-day event at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn. continues Thursday and concludes Friday.

NEPA Elite Clark 17U
The NEPA Elite Clark 17U girls, coming off their third straight Hoop Group Showcase League championship game appearance, placed four scorers in double figures in a 67-54 victory over NEX Elite HS-Russell HGSL in a 17U Orange Division Championship bracket game.
Ella Wilson made all four of her 3-point attempts to help NEPA Elite to a 37-28 halftime lead.
Kiyomi McMiller scored a team-high 16 points. Wilson and Mackenzie Perluke added 14 points each.
Cadie Lewis, who had three 3-pointers, including two in the second half, finished with 11 points.
Perluke scored 11 points on 5-for-9 shooting during the second half.
Emily Romanowski grabbed a team-high seven rebounds while Wilson had five.
Sophia Talutto, who scored seven points, and McMiller shared the team lead with four assists.
NEPA Elite moved above .500 at 18-17 overall on the season by winning for the seventh time in the last eight games.
Lewis and Talutto are from Dunmore. Wilson is from Lake-Lehman; McMiller from Silver Spring, Md.; Perluke from Wyoming Valley West; and Romanowski from Western Wayne.
NEPA Elite Macciocco 16U
Talutto scored 15 points and made 2 steals as the NEPA Elite Macciocco 16U team edged the New Jersey Soldiers, 43-40, in the 16U Orange Division Pool A.
Talutto went 3-for-4 from the 3-point range while the team was otherwise struggling from long distance.
Gabby Marsola added nine points, five rebounds and two steals.
Addison Kilmer scored six points and blocked four shots.
Kennedy Bittenbender led the team in both rebounds with six and assists with three.
Marsola from Wyoming Valley West; Kilmer from Mountain View; and Bittenbender from Scranton.
NEPA Elite Rini 15U
NEPA Elite just missed a perfect opening day when Mass Frenzy 15U edged the Rini 15U team, 38-36, in a 15U Orange Division Pool B game.
Maggie O’Shea had 10 points in the loss.
Maggie Coleman scored eight points and made four steals.
O’Shea is from Scranton while Coleman is from Abington Heights.
NEPA Elite Clark 13U
The NEPA Elite Clark 13U girls held EVO Elite 2026 without a field goal in the first half and scored 49 of the game’s first 50 points on the way to a 79-14 rout in a 14U Orange Division Pool B game.
Chrissy Jacklinski led the way with 25 points.
Zya Small added 18 points.
Kayli McHugh scored 10, Cora Castellani 9 and Ella Clementoni 7.
Jacklinski and Small are from Scranton; McHugh and Clementoni from North Pocono; and Castellani from Valley View.
